Wind Turbine

In 2013 Stafford County Flour Mills made the decision to go ahead with a project to use wind energy to help produce our flour.  If you've been to our area of Kansas, you know that wind is one thing we have plenty of.  With this in mind we proceeded to install a wind turbine to produce the majority of the power we need to produce flour and lower our carbon footprint.

Recycling

Stafford County Flour Mills partners with Sunflower Diversified Services to recycle the excess packaging materials from our operation.  We are proud of this association and the benefits it provides to both of our organizations.
