Hudson Cream Flour Bakefest 2025

General Rules
  • Each recipe must use Hudson Cream Flour and be an original work of the entrant (no mixes).  Please note which variety of flour was used on the recipe card (i.e., whole wheat, white, self-rising).
  • A recipe (typed or hand-written) must be included with each entry.
  • Once a person wins with a given recipe, he/she may not enter that recipe again.
  • One entry per division, per person.
  • All products and recipes submitted become property of the Stafford County Fair board.  PLEASE bring items in disposable containers as they will not be returned. 
  • For food safety purposes, any food with custard and dairy-based fillings (i.e. cream cheese, raw eggs) fresh fruit toppings or any food requiring refrigeration (i.e., bacon), or unbaked exhibits with raw flour will be disqualified and not judged.
SPECIFIC CLASS RULES
  • Fruit Pies:  1 whole pie, no larger than 9" in aluminum disposable pie plate.  No cream pies or pies using eggs, egg whites or milk in the filling can be accepted.
  • Specialty Yeast Breads: 1 whole unit (loaf, tea ring etc..) or 1 pan of sweet rolls (cinnamon rolls etc..) on a disposable board, or in a disposable container. 
  • Quick Bread:  1 whole loaf (fruit and nuts may be added/cooked in the batter, no yeast) on a disposable board. 
  • Kid’s Cookies: 3 cookies on a disposable plate.  
  • Kid’s Muffins: 3 muffins on a disposable plate (fruit and nuts may be added/cooked in the batter, no frosting.)
