- Blend oil, sugar and vanilla together with mixers until well blended.
- Add beaten eggs; mix well.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Stir in chopped nuts (optional).
- Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
