Biscuits
with all purpose flour
Ingredients:
2 Cups Hudson Cream All Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 Cup Shortening
3/4 Cup Milk
Directions:
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl and stir.
Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk; stir until dough clings together
Place dough on a lightly floured surface and gently knead 4 or 5 times.
Roll out to 1/2- inch thickness. Cut. Place on ungreased baking sheet with sides touching.
Cook Time & Temperature:
Bake at 425 degrees F for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
