Multi-purpose bun/roll recipe

Ingredients:
Yields: 8, 3 ounce hot dog buns
  • 3.5 Cups Flour (15 ounces)
  • ½ Tablespoon Salt (3/8 ounce)
  • ¼ Cup Granulated Sugar (2 ounces)
  • 1/8 Cup Non-fat dry milk (3/8 ounce)
  • 2 Teaspoons yeast (1/4 ounce)
  • ¼ Cup vegetable or canola oil (2 ounces)
  • 1 Cup very warm water- 120-130 degrees F (8 ounces)

Directions:
  • Combine flour, salt, sugar, yeast, non-fat dry milk and stir well.    
  • Add in water and oil. 
  • Mix for 5 minutes. 
  • Cover and let dough rise until doubled in size.  
  • Shape, cover and let raise another 20 minutes. 
  • Place shaped dough near each other on greased baking sheet. 
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 16 minutes (time may need to adjust based on shape/size)
